As soon as you know your approximate move date. Our morning 8 AM slots fill up fastest, especially on weekends and at the beginning/end of the month. If you want your ideal date and time, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. For mid‑week moves or more flexible dates, we can often accommodate you on shorter notice.

We do need someone with decision‑making authority on‑site at the beginning and end of the move to confirm inventory, walk the crew through the home, and sign off on completion. Many customers run errands or step out during the middle of the move. As long as we have a way to reach you by phone and you’re back for the final walkthrough, that’s totally fine.

Our estimates are based on your home size, inventory, access (elevators, stairs, parking), and drive time. They’re estimates, not fixed quotes. You’re only billed for the actual time our crew and truck are working on your move, in 15‑minute increments. If we see that we’re trending longer than expected, we’ll communicate that during the move so there are no surprises at the end.

Then you pay less. Because we bill in 15‑minute increments, if our crew finishes faster than the estimated time, your final bill will be lower than the original estimate.

We are fully licensed and insured, but we almost never make you deal with an insurance claim. If we damage something, we take responsibility and work directly with you to fix it. In most cases, we offer near replacement value out of pocket for furniture (excluding fragile particle board items), floors, walls, or other property we damage. Yes. If you already have a truck, pod, or rental and just need a professional crew to load or unload, we offer labor‑only moves billed at our standard hourly rate (no truck included). This is a great option if you want professional help without hiring a full moving service.

We handle local moves within roughly 25 miles of downtown Austin, including most surrounding neighborhoods and suburbs. We even go as far as Dallas or Houston for a same day move.
